Abstract

An adolescent is facing some of the most difficult decisions that could be morally suitable. Theorists have studied teenagers throughout time and have come to the conclusion that they do in fact proceed through stages through the preteen age range through early adulthood. Intellectual development will assist pave the way for an adolescent to enter meaningful development. Children often think about who they are, who they want to become, and wherever they see themselves down the road.

Adolescence is among the hardest times during the a infant's life. They reach a spot of racking your brains on who they are and what they at some point would like to become. Certain factors such as environments and sociable peers support determine the results of this technique of adolescence. Adolescence has been studied and stages have been arranged for each element of an adolescences growth.

There are various views on the expansion in age of puberty. Theorists have studied just how an adolescent perceives themselves, the folks around them and in situations they encounter. Erik Erikson and James Marcia have defined these ideas as identity development and identity statuses. The identification development was a part of Erik Erikson's 6th stage of psychosocial expansion theory. This kind of stage includes the spirit identity compared to role diffusion. In this level an adolescent is usually faced with contemplation about who they actually are, who they would like to become, and where that they see themselves in the future. David Marcia's progress identity theory touches on each scenario of ethnic teams and experience. Adolescents whom enter this kind of stage is going to contemplate their particular religious morals with meaningful values or perhaps who they need to be might not exactly squeeze into their cultural background.
